
Dr. Sam Rader takes a holistic, outside-the-box approach to treating couples, adults and adolescents. She seeks to illuminate the internal world of her clients, while helping each individual connect to themselves, others and the world at large in a meaningful way. Sam works to build an authentic, trusting relationship with each individual and aims to embody warmth, optimism, curiosity and empathy.
Sam earned her Bachelor’s degree from Vassar College, and her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Alliant International University, with an emphasis in couples and individual counseling. Her dissertation focused on the benefits of time spent in nature, both for the mind and the world. Sam received prestigious clinical training at the Maple Counseling Center as well as the Wright Institute Los Angeles. In addition to her formal education, Sam has had professional training in Somatic Experiencing, EMDR, reiki, yoga, meditation and bodywork.
