Marielle embodies a gentle, intuitive approach to psychotherapy. She strives to treat the whole person, honoring the individuality and uniqueness of each client. She empowers her clients to trust themselves, by drawing upon the innate wisdom and healing potential of the psyche.
Marielle was drawn to psychology after taking her own journey of personal healing and realizing her spiritual purpose in life as a healer for others. She strives to bridge the spiritual with the ordinary and is committed to helping her clients to find their unique life’s purpose. She builds a collaborative relationship with clients to uncover some of the root causes of suffering, while also supporting their unique goals, hopes and dreams.
Marielle especially enjoys working with adolescents and young adults to navigate a complex world and to develop a sense of identity that is in alignment with their authentic selves. Her previous career in the entertainment industry also gives her special insight into working with industry professionals and other artists.
Marielle has clinical experience working with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, substance abuse, self-harm, low self-esteem, codependency and body image issues. She may also be uniquely helpful in working with those who are affected by a loved one experiencing addiction, narcissism, or borderline personality disorder.
Marielle earned her Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University Los Angeles, with a focus on spiritual and depth psychology. She received additional clinical training at the prestigious Maple Counseling Center in Los Angeles, and also incorporates mindfulness practices into her therapy work.
